Here's a few snaps of my students in the industry, control room and classroom.
“In my time at Clear Springs High School, my class with Amber Pecsenye exposed me to real-world working scenarios. I’d leave the school’s campus to record video at various locations much like a hired freelancer, allowing me to learn not just about video production, but also the social aspect of doing business with clients. She also connected me with people working in the University of Houston’s football program, helping me ultimately land a job as a student doing creative video work with the team. I gained many valuable and memorable experiences doing that for four seasons, which led me into a full-time position with the university’s main division of marketing and communications managing social media. Had it not been for the care and guidance I received from Amber, I surely would not have been as well positioned for the work that I’m doing today."
"Throughout high school, Mrs. Pecsenye fostered an environment that rewarded curiosity and experimentation, cultivating an atmosphere where learning was intertwined with exploration. Her unwavering support and dedication always extended beyond the classroom, which continued to motivate my own personal and professional growth. Her mentorship played a vital role in laying the groundwork for many of the soft skills I utilize daily as a production assistant within the advertising industry."
"C3Studios not only provided me the technical knowledge for the live production industry, it also allowed me to find my passion for live production and made me realize it is what I wanted to do as a profession. C3 also allowed me to be around some of the best minds in live production around the Houston area. I would not be in one of the best college production teams without the great experience I gained in high school working for C3Studios."
"I work at my school's TV studio as a technical assistant. The live production knowledge learned from my time at C3 and from Amber got me my job at NYU’s TV12. Amber taught me what it means to be a good director and producer and showed me my own potential. The biggest thing she gave me was the confidence in myself to take on NYC and in an industry that can be unforgiving. She taught me tenacity, relentlessness, and how to command a room with my voice alone. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her mentorship. I hope to one day thank her in the credits of my own films because she truly was the one to start me on this path.”
"C3Studios & Volt Vision prepared me to understand live production in so many ways. I was able to work in my current job and achieve as much as I have thanks to the leadership and opportunities I was given at both C3 and VV. Pecsenye has really taught me how to handle working in the real world and gave me so many pointers to life that I could never thank her enough. She has truly been one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to live production and I hope one day I can be as successful as her and have the great ability to teach others just like how she taught me."
