Educator by day and freelancer by night! |
Greetings everyone! I am Amber Pecsenye (panini but with a "c" - "pa-C-ni") from a small town just a few miles south of Memphis. I have been in Houston for the past 15 years and in the education since 2010. I have a BS in RTV from Arkansas State University and played volleyball in college. I also had the pleasure of coaching Junior Olympic Volleyball at Arkansas JRs for a few season and we went to Nationals our first year! In 2019, I obtained my Masters in Eduction Technology Leadership (M. Ed.) from Lamar University and transitioned to a new position in Clear Creek ISD as the Audio/Video Production Program Manager & C3Studios Program Director. There's a lot of hats with this role but it has been a fun ride! I support all multi-camera events at Challenger Columbia Stadium, Robotics Event Center, Livestock Show & Auction, graduations and more...and serve as the CTE Arts, Audio/Video Technology and Communications Instructional Leader. Prior to June 2019, I was teaching high school video production at Clear Springs High School in CCISD. I was also the JV volleyball coach for a few season. I spend the majority of my nights and weekends working game day production for events for Houston Texans, RodeoHouston, Houston Rockets and other venues around town. Outside of work, I love to attend concerts...but due to my freelance schedule, free time is few and far between.
I have found a passion in teaching video and find joy in helping students find their pathway in video production. I try to stay in touch with as many former students as possible. Some stay on C3Studios crew as interns and trainers; others help support random voice over and graphics request when needed. It is very fulfilling to work with former students as fellow freelancers - I have no doubt they will be my boss someday...they make me look good. :) I use all my resources to help connect my students with the next step and to bring that industry standard to our control room and events. I enjoy producing content for our video board and community partners and showcasing our amazing CTE programs. I have been in live and video production for 20 years...loving every moment.
My blending life of working in education and freelance has allowed me the opportunity to keep expanding my knowledge and experience.
